DESCRIPTION

MAGNUS CARBON REMOVER is a non-phenolic solvent decarbonizer, degreaser and paint stripper. It will help remove or loosen carbonized deposits as well as paint, grease and sludge from metal surfaces. CARBON REMOVER is a clear, amber liquid blend of chlorinated and oxigenated solvents, emulsifiers, soaps, silicates and penetrants agents.

APPLICATION

CARBON REMOVER can be used aboard ship, in shipyards or offshore installations to clean burner tips, burner barrels, fuel heaters and diesel fuel injectors. It is designed to be used full strength or in soak tanks or special Magnus agitating equipment.

DIRECTION

Immersion Tanks Parts Cleaning:

Premix 3 parts CARBON REMOVER to 1 part water(75% solution), then heat tank to 100-130°F (38-55°C). Ideal cleaning temperature is 120° F (49° C). Follow cleaning with pressure rinse.

PRECAUTION

CAUTION: COMBUSTIBLE

Contains chlorinated solvents. Harmful if    swallowed. Avoid breathing of vapor. Protect  skin, eyes and mucous membranes from contact with this product-may cause irritation. Wear palstic gloves, goggles or face shield and protective clothing when using this product and its used solutions.

FIRST AID

External: Immediately wash skin thoroughly with soap and clean water. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.

Eyes: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

Internal: If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomitting. Call a physician immediately.

Inhalation: Immediately move to fresh air.

STORAGE

Keep container close when not is use. Store away from heat, sparks and open flame and a well-ventilated area.
